Becoming Homeless can happen to anybody and affects all walks of life. Some ex film stars have been seen homeless on the streets. Nobody is immune and many are just one pay packet away from becoming another Homeless statisitic..
With the current UK cost of living crisis showing no signs of easing, London and the UK is facing a real problem here. Even in these high tech times nobody really has the answer including the Government. Homeless Charities try their best but they only have so much time and resources, many people are volunteers..
London Homeless doesn't really have the answer yet either but is looking for one. In the meantime this website becomes like a Bible for Homeless people on the streets especially those who are new....... especially the first couple of months...
Many more experienced what I call "street people" or "street nomads" know the information on this website, form their own groups and avoid the hostels and will probably live that way for years to come. It's a way of life they get used to and it becomes to them their new normal and something they accept and just get on with it. That is the current situation in London at the time of writing.
